Smol Pep began on December 22, 2020, when he was first drawn to life by the artist known as “Mr0lle,” who posted him to BetterTTV. He then teamed up with artist “Crohny,” and together they created a Discord channel that grew to over 8,000 members — they called it the “Home of the Gladgers.” 

 From there, the meme exploded, spreading across X (Twitter), Reddit, and Telegram. Many others began drawing their own stickers and GIFs to use across those platforms, expanding the community even further. 

 Fast forward to February 4, 2025: Smol Pep was tokenized under the name “Smol Pepe,” nicknamed Smol Pep.  He exploded in the crypto community, climbing to a $16 million market cap. Hundreds of people changed their profile pictures to custom versions of Pep, and the X (Twitter) page grew to over 4,000 followers. 

 Through it all, the bear market rippled across the entire crypto space — but the community stayed strong. Along the way, the project faced setbacks, including the loss of its original X (Twitter) account and numerous copycat coins trying to steal the art and identity. Nothing could break the Smol Pep community, though — they persevered. 

 That brings us to today: the original community migrated their supply and core holders to PumpSwap, giving the team creator fees and supply control for stronger tokenomics and long-term project support. The team keeps pushing — posting memes daily across every platform and running a Telegram community over 3,500 strong. 

 Smol Pep is more than a token. It’s a community built by artists, holders, and believers who refused to let a good frog go extinct. Whether you’re here for the memes, the art, or the charts, there’s always room for one more in the pond.
